This is called creativity ! Conventions won't let me call these 'real' photographs, but if digital alterations can be called 'art', this girl has really mastered it !

I'd suggest you bookmark her portfolio at flickr and get amazed by her work at a regular basis. I'm doing that currently. :)

Only I wish that guy were not looking towards the camera. But it's really difficult to prevent that ! :D

From the photographer: "This is one of my most extensively post processed shots. It's a composite of 4 pictures to get the vivid dynamic range in the shot. Taken at f/22 with shutter speeds varying from 1" to 4" and a graduated ND filter to get is as right as possible in a single shot."

The extent of post-processing is very apparent no doubt and HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos are generally a bit unnatural. But it looks good and very attractive! Only I feel the horizon could have been pushed a little up .... a personal choice. :)

A bit too saturated for my taste, looks unnatural ... but it feels nice to look at the photo.

It's always difficult to chose the right track. ;)
